We know an unplanned pregnancy can be overwhelming for the men involved, too. That’s why we offer services specifically for men so you can understand your role and how to support your partner.

Before doing anything else, it’s important for your partner to confirm she is pregnant with a pregnancy test and ultrasound. We offer both services at no cost, and if you come in for her appointment, we have male staff members who can sit down with you to discuss your options as well.

Once the pregnancy is confirmed, you and your partner will have three options to consider: abortion, adoption, or parenting. Each comes with its own set of challenges, so it’s important to have all the information you need to carefully consider each one. We can provide that information and provide a safe place to process what you’re going through and your next steps.

She needs your support

The most important thing you can communicate to your partner when facing an unplanned pregnancy is support. This doesn’t mean telling her she can decide and that you’ll support her either way. It means sharing your opinion, your feelings, and anything you’re thinking about the pregnancy. This is a stressful time, and your relationship will only be strengthened if you both can make this decision together.

We’re here for you

It’s common to feel angry, afraid, vulnerable, and confused. Pregnancy is a big deal and if it was unplanned those feelings can be compounded. It’s important to acknowledge those emotions (and anything else you’re feeling) because they can be a good indication of where you are. But it’s also important to know that our feelings aren’t always an accurate picture of reality. Many people feel overwhelmed by pregnancy but when they receive support, it makes a world of difference.

Regardless of which option you and your partner are considering (abortion, adoption, or parenting), we can help make sure you have all the information you need to make the best decision for you both.
